At the Museum of Liverpool we are exploring the collections to uncover the most courageous and inspirational Liverpool women; the Walker Art Gallery will be revealing the female artists whose lives and work have all too often been forgotten in the annals of art history; we celebrate the opportunities now open to women who are seeking a career at sea at the Merseyside Maritime Museum; we take a look at the remarkable life of Lady Emma Hamilton at the Lady Lever Art Gallery, and at the International Slavery Museum we’re extremely excited to be getting a visit by gal-dem, an online creative magazine composed of more than 70 women.
