We’ve always thought the view from our window was pretty special but we’re thrilled to find out others agree.
Our 30ft high picture window in The People’s Republic gallery has been shortlisted for My Glazing’s Window with a View competition and now we need your vote to get us to the next stage!
From this window our visitors enjoy one of the world’s most spectacular views. Not only can they take in the elegant Liverpool skyline but also gaze out onto the River Mersey, the Irish Sea and beyond.
Having wondered through the Museum of Liverpool, learning about the changing fortunes of the city and the fabric and character of the people living within it, visitors arrive at last to this iconic view. From here they can imagine the way the view has changed over centuries and the many lives that have been inextricably linked to it.
The window offers a glimpse into the past, present and future and has become a focal point for history, celebration and even love. Who could refuse a marriage proposal with such a backdrop? And we’ve played host to several!
